Inspired by the art of Persia, India and Arabia Catherine Eyde’s paintings continue to evolve in eastern oriented work. Her media includes painting, drawing, prints, illustration and commisson work.

My work takes shape as abstract and symbolic images, reflected in a moment of time. I’m a cultural nomad, influenced by the natural world. Most of my paintings incorporate water based media, and I also enjoy experimenting with new uses for common materials.
