Tucson Murals - tips for using detailed map
The detailed Tucson Murals Map comes in two sizes:
small (500x400 pixels) and
large (800x600 pixels).
There's also a map by theme.
Some hints for using them:
- Choose a part of Tucson you'd like to explore.
-
Zoom in, if you'd like, by clicking the + sign near the left edge.
Scroll around either by:
- clicking on the directional arrows at the top-left, or
- by dragging (pointing to a part of the map without a red dot,
holding down your mouse button, and moving the mouse)
-
To get information about a mural, point to its red dot, wait for the
cursor to change from a plain hand into a hand with a pointing finger.
(To get the pointing hand, you may need to move the mouse slightly away
from the dot, then over the dot again.)
Click.
A pop-up window will show a photo of the mural and info about it.
-
To find out more about a mural, look for a link near the end that you
can click on to read its entry in the Tucson Murals Project website.
The map is a work in progress, still being developed.
